As of July 18, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 16.7 million tonnes of grains from the area of 5.34 million hectares, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. In particular, the farmers harvested 12.5 million tonnes of winter wheat on the area of 3.8 million hectares, or 60% to the forecast; 23,700 tonnes of spring wheat on the area of 10,000 hectares, or 5% to the forecast; and 855,400 tonnes of spring barley on the area of 440,500 hectares, or 29% to the forecast; 465,000 tonnes of peas on the area of 287,000 hectares, or 68% to the forecast. The average yield of cereals is at 31.3 c/ha.
