Misunderstanding: Prominent Jewish leader comments on U.S. congressmen's claim of anti-Semitism in Ukraine

Yosyp Zisels, Executive Vice-President of the Congress of National Communities of Ukraine, co-chairman of the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Ukraine, says the statement by dozens of U.S. congressmen claiming the rise of anti-Semitism in Ukraine seems "very strange." "It once again shows that unfortunately, not all U.S. congressmen are aware of the history of Ukraine or that of Poland," he told RFE/RL, noting that "sometimes they do things because someone lobbies for them."
