The potential of production, based on the sowing of honey plants - up to 140 thousand tons of honey per year, twice the current volume.
Now in Ukraine there are no mandatory requirements for the quality of honey. At the same time, within the framework of the association agreement with the EU, Ukraine must implement the European requirements for the quality of honey, which are fixed in Council Directive No. 2001/110 / EC, by the end of 2019.
The establishment of a modern laboratory for the analysis of the quality of honey is very relevant now in Ukraine.
Local laboratories can not do all the necessary tests. And analyzes of European laboratories are quite expensive for Ukrainian beekeepers.
