Meeting between the President of Ukraine and the U.S. Secretary of State: Ukraine and USA agreed to restore the functioning of the Commission for Strategic Partnership

Within the 48th annual session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

The Head of State noted that his meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State had lasted one hour and the parties had thoroughly discussed all the issues of bilateral and international cooperation. “An hourly conversation is not a custom meeting format in Davos, but we deliberately planned to make it longer to discuss all the issues. And I am grateful to our American partners for a very powerful support for Ukraine. We discussed all spheres of cooperation,” Petro Poroshenko stressed in the briefing.
