Poroshenko has signed the moratorium on land sales

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on amendments to the Land code adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 7 December 2017.

The document extends for one year the moratorium on the sale or alienation of agricultural land, reported the press service of the President.

The document comes into force on the day following the day of its publication.

Recall that land reform is an important condition of the program of cooperation between Ukraine and the International monetary Fund.
