Erasmus+ will allow Ukrainian universities to improve educational programs
30
universities
in
Ukraine
will
work
on
improving
educational
programs
in
six
fields
.
Activities
will
be
carried
out
within
the
framework
of
the
eight
projects
that
won
the
EU
Erasmus
Program
+
Competition
:
Capacity
Building
in
the
field
of
higher
education
from
2017.
Capacity-building
projects
in
the
field
of
higher
education
are
aimed
at
upgrading
educational
programs
in
the
spheres
of
technology
,
bioengineering
,
ecology
,
management
,
logistics
and
agro-
industry
.
Apart
from
that
,
they
seek
to
implement
modern
teaching
and
learning
methods
and
to
improve
cooperation
between
universities
,
business
and
the
state
.
Innovation
centers
based
on
the
exchange
of
experience
with
Erasmus
+
member
countries
will
also
be
established
within
the
structures
of the universities.
149
projects
were
selected
at
the
competition
with
the
total
value
of
7.5
million
euros
. 41
institutions
from
Ukraine
will
participate
in
the
implementation
of
projects
.
For
the
first
time
in
the
history
of
the
Tempus
and
Erasmus
+
programs
, a
project
was
recommended
for
funding
,
in
which
the
Ukrainian
university
–
Vasyl
Stefanyk
Precarpathian
National
University
serves
as
a
grant
recipient
and
coordinator
of
the
project
.
Other
Ukrainian
institutions
as
well
as
universities
from
Cyprus
,
Spain
and
Poland
are
also
engaged
in
the
project
.
The
project
team
will
work
on
upgrading
pedagogical
higher
education
and
groundbreaking
teaching
and
learning
tools
.
