The disaster at Grenfell Tower in west London is the worst tower block fire the UK has witnessed, having claimed 30 lives so far.

Investigators are working to understand how the fire began and spread, but there are pressing questions over the construction, refurbishment and management of the block, as well as over whether existing building regulations are adequate.
