Among the topics discussed
during the meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Federal
Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French
Republic Jean-Marc Ayrault were the prospects of deepening
collaboration in the investment sphere.
Volodymyr Groysman informed
the interlocutors that there would be set up an Investment Support Office under
supervision of the Prime Minister. Now the process of forming the staff is
underway.
"We want that business -
first it will be large business - feel completely comfortable. If a company
comes, wants to invest in the Ukrainian economy, the Office will settle, with
my personal support, all the bureaucratic issues to ensure that businessmen
feel very welcome, have no problems with any permit, have no problems with the
fiscal service", stressed the Head of Government.
"It will be done. We
pledge support and protection to the business entities to ensure their success.
I need efficient investment, I don’t need investment for statistics.
It is crucial to ensure that everyone investing a euro, dollar, hryvnia be
satisfied. Then a critical mass of investment resources will change our
country, and we are counting on it", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Minister of Foreign
Affairs and International Development of France Jean-Marc Ayrault confirmed
the Investment Forum was due in Paris, October 28.
In turn, Volodymyr Groysman
said that he would visit the Ukrainian-French Investment Forum. He also
expressed belief that the event would be held by France at a high level. "It
will mean that we give good impetus for business," he said.
