Prime Minister of Ukraine and Foreign Ministers of Germany and France discussed prospects for deepening investment cooperation

Among the topics discussed during the meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French Republic Jean-Marc Ayrault were the prospects of deepening collaboration in the investment sphere.

Volodymyr Groysman informed the interlocutors that there would be set up an Investment Support Office under supervision of the Prime Minister. Now the process of forming the staff is underway.

"We want that business - first it will be large business - feel completely comfortable. If a company comes, wants to invest in the Ukrainian economy, the Office will settle, with my personal support, all the bureaucratic issues to ensure that businessmen feel very welcome, have no problems with any permit, have no problems with the fiscal service", stressed the Head of Government.


"It will be done. We pledge support and protection to the business entities to ensure their success. I need efficient investment, I don’t need investment for statistics. It is crucial to ensure that everyone investing a euro, dollar, hryvnia be satisfied. Then a critical mass of investment resources will change our country, and we are counting on it", said Volodymyr Groysman.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France Jean-Marc Ayrault confirmed the Investment Forum was due in Paris, October 28.

In turn, Volodymyr Groysman said that he would visit the Ukrainian-French Investment Forum. He also expressed belief that the event would be held by France at a high level. "It will mean that we give good impetus for business," he said.
