Ministry of Finance launched its internal reform

Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk and his deputy, the head of the Ministry’s office Yevgeniy Kapinus, had a meeting with representatives of Pricewaterhouse Coopers the previous week, so the first steps in this area have begun this week.
The parties discussed cooperation aimed to improve business processes at the Ministry of Finance. This project will be completely financed by international donors and does not require any funding from the state budget.

What does the reform of the Ministry of Finance stand for?
First, it shall lay ground for the efficient work of the Ministry based on the following key elements:
• optimization of internal processes;
• improvement of internal communication;
• introduction of the project approach;
• increasing the responsibility of employees;
• implementation of technical amendments.
 “Organizing the Ministry’s operations in a proper way should improve the level and the quality of our work significantly. We want the Ministry of Finance, as the driver of the reforms, to change itself from within to become a pattern for other state agencies”, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk said.
