Also amidst the
main objectives the Prime Minister called the following: ensuring macroeconomic
stability, creating a favorable business climate, strengthening the fight
against corruption and energy efficiency.
According to
him, along with Joe Biden, they also discussed the situation in Donbas and the
fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. Volodymyr Groysman pointed out
the need to maintain the sanctions against the Russian Federation. "The
whole civilized world must be united in order to prevent the aggressor from its
plans to disregard international law, territorial integrity and international
values," he noted.
The Prime
Minister thanked the United States for its support to Ukraine.
"Bilateral talks and meetings at the U.S. Government and Congress make us
believe we are united. The Government understands it’s Ukraine, first of all,
that needs success the most and appreciates the support provided by the United
States aimed at making Ukraine successful and overcoming all the
challenges in terms of the aggression from the Russian Federation, as well as
the support for reforms necessary for Ukrainian society," he stated.
