Minister for Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin and
the Ambassador of the State of Israel Eliav Belotsercovskysigned on
June 7, 2016 in Kyiv the intergovernmental Agreement on the temporary
employment of Ukrainian workers in specific labor market sectors in the State
of Israel and corresponding Implementation Protocol A for the Construction
Sector.
The Agreement, which requires
further ratification by the Parliaments of both states has practical
significance for the citizens of Ukraine as it determines the legal basis for
the temporary employment of Ukrainian workers in the State of Israel and
provides for the possibility of signing additional Protocols that will allow to
open Israeli labor market for Ukrainian specialists in relevant sectors.
At a press conference
afterwards Ambassador of the State of Israel Eliav Belotsercovsky,
First Deputy Minister for social policy Vasyl Shevchenko and
representative of State employment service Viktor Horlenkoexplained the
details of the Agreement and mechanism of its implementation.
The Ministry will inform the
public on the entry into force of the Agreement.
