Portugal to provide assistance to Ukrainian Defence Ministry

The Government of Portugal has approved the provision of €200,000 assistance to Ukraine. It covers the military technical assistance, treatment of soldiers and assistance in troops training.
Minister of National Defence of Portugal Mr. Jose Alberto Azeredo Lopes announced it during meeting with General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine thanked for assistance and support and expressed certitude that in the future the Ukraine-Portugal cooperation would be developed.

“We should particularly develop defence industry cooperation,” Stepan Poltorak said.
The head of Portuguese defence ministry underlined Portugal would support the Ukrainian issue at the Warsaw Summit.
