Mexico
recently expanded the list of individuals who can visit Mexico without a visa.
Now anyone who holds an unexpired visa or is a permanent resident of the United
States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, or a Schengen member country may visit
Mexico for up to 180 days without a visa as a non-remunerated visitor.
Non-remunerated visitors may carry out any activity – including work – as long
as they are paid outside of Mexico. This new rule renders nationals who would
otherwise need a visa to enter Mexico exempt from this requirement as long as
they are able to present proof of permanent residence in or an unexpired visa
of the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, or a Schengen country. For the full list
