Government will prevent abuse of regulatory authorities, improving conditions for leveraging investment

The Government will support and protect the investors who are going to create new jobs in the country and develop the national economy, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stressed at an extraordinary Cabinet’s meeting on Friday, May 27.
"Attracting investment is one of the top priorities. Those who today intend to invest in the development of the national economy, the Government, each official will protect. Create new jobs for Ukrainians, and we, the Government, will serve you for free and will do it honestly," said Volodymyr Groysman.

Growing investment and generating employment will trigger the development of the national economy andimprovement of people’s incomes. However, it is crucial to prevent the abuse by regulatory authorities in this area, which hinders the development of businesses, said the Prime Minister.
"We must achieve sustainable economic growth, predictable currency exchange rate, predictable and low unemployment rates. We have enormous potential. However, now it is imperative to cut down to size anyone who considers themselves influential in this life: inspections, and all other tyrants. Not until then we will restore the economy, then we will be able to protect the owner, we will be able to protect investments, people will invest in new jobs," said the Head of Government.
According to him, a person who does his job should get real and fair wage. In this context, Volodymyr Groysman assured: "The Government will spare no effort to reform the labor market, and to upgrade the process of training personnel, to improve the quality of it. Undoubtedly, boost of economy proves possible through manufacturing, through services, through high added value and, in fact, it is our principal objective.
The Prime Minister noted that the current deficit of the Pension Fund amounts to UAH 145 billion. "145 billion hryvnyas, but where the funds are from? These are the money belonging to Ukrainian citizens, as someone does not pay, considering that it doesn't matter. Therefore, the system must change," he said.
Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the Government was engaged in solving urgent problems, has the political will and advocates a professional, but never populist approach to carrying out necessary changes. "Our objective is to establish high-quality economic framework and basing on this to shape both economic policy andto reform social policy", said the Prime Minister.
