Volodymyr Groysman talked with representatives of the Weimar triangle reforms in Ukraine and resolving the situation in Donbas



Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met with the heads of Foreign Affairs Committees of the parliaments of the Weimar triangle (Germany, France and Poland). The parties discussed current situation in Ukraine and the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

Prime Minister of Ukraine informed that 10 days ago in Ukraine there was formed a new Coalition in theVerkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the new Government. “We reiterate our position - the continuation of the European integration, reforms, the implementation of the Action Plan with the International Monetary Fund. Work is hard and it requires concentration of efforts of the President, the Parliament and the Government,” VolodymyrGroysman stated, commenting on the plans of activity of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Among the Government's priorities are the reforms in the judiciary, public administration, bringing gas prices to economically justified level. Deregulation, privatization of state-owned enterprises and decentralization are also important areas, the Prime Minister said. "Corruption and populism is not a lesser evil for Ukraine than Russian tanks",  he stressed.
The Head of Government stressed that Ukraine is committed to implementation of the Minsk agreements. He informed on the adoption of relevant decisions. The head of the Government assured that as the Prime Minister of Ukraine “will do everything for taking decisions favoring the achievement of the peace process".
Heads of Foreign Affairs Committees of the parliaments of the Weimar triangle welcomed the formation of a new Cabinet and completion the political crisis in Ukraine. They expressed the hope that the Government will achieve its goals.
