During the
meeting of the Tripartite Liaison Group on the settlement of the situation in
the Donbass the representatives of the "DPR" put forward
theirs own terms of reform of the Constitution of Ukraine, which were rejected,
said the agency "Interfax-Ukraine" representative of Ukraine in
political subgroup of the Trilateral group Roman Bezsmertnyi.
He confirmed
that representatives of the "DPR" wanted to at the constitutional
level will fixed quota "DNR" in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, have
the right to harmonize all adopted laws of Ukraine and the right to veto on decisions in the
field of foreign policy of Ukraine.
In addition to
"DPR" wants "Donbass region" has been gaining economic (the
right to trade with Russia), political (the right to elect its own parliament,
government and president) and cultural (protection of the Russian language)
autonomy.
The presented
"DPI" initiatives to reform the Constitution of Ukraine also means
that they are demanding of the right to form their own state police, the
security services, the judiciary, prosecutors, border guards and other
institutions "without the consent of the Kiev authorities."
