On December 18th, 2015, Ukraine State Enterprise ANTONOV and
AERONEO Ltd (Portugal) formally signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” for
their mutual cooperation in (a) the promotion of ANTONOV commercial
aircrafts throughout Europe and Africa and the organization of their respective
leasing, (b) the maintenance of ANTONOV aircrafts operating in Africa at
AERONEO’s facilities in Beja Airport (Portugal), including their possible
renewal and revalorization, and the use of ANTONOV’s technological potential
for the development of existing or new products.
Oleksandr Kotsiuba, First Vice President of ANTONOV Company, and
Pierre−F. à Porta and Dominique E. Verhaegen, Managing Partners of AERONEO,
Indústria, Comércio e Serviços Aeronauticos, Lda agreed that the event will
allow both Groups to start taking mutual advantage of their respective
positions in niche and developing areas in the industry.
