Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has
extended until January 1, 2017 moratorium on the sale of agricultural land.
For the corresponding law
№3404 "On Amendments to section X of the Transitional Provisions of the
Land Code of Ukraine concerning the extension of the ban the alienation of
agricultural lands" on Tuesday voted 309 deputies.
The law provides that until
the entry into force of the law on the circulation of agricultural land, but
not earlier than 1 January 2017, is not permitted the purchase and sale of
agricultural land state and communal property.
