On Maidan Nezalezhnosti, a sign of dedication took place to commemorate the victims of terrorist attacks committed in Paris on November 13.
Compositions of Ukrainian and French composers, as well as the world classical music were performed near P.Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.
The National Music Academy was highlighted in colors of the national flag of France. Despite Saturday evening, many Kyiv residents came to express solidarity with the people of France.
"Ukrainians know well what a treacherous attack is. We express condolences to our French friends. In difficult times for them, we reaffirm our commitment to common values, to a world without hatred and cruelty. Today, the entire Ukraine is with French people," Head of the Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin commented on yesterday's shocking tragedy in the capital of France.
Rallies in the memory of the victims of terrorist attacks in Paris took place in other cities of Ukraine as well.
