Free workshops by USAID and Ministry of Economic Development to help SME to access foreign markets

On Wednesday, September 9, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine together with USAID Leadership in economic governance program launched a series of free workshops for entrepreneurs “Access to the European and world markets: myths and realities."
The first workshop, held in the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers, brought together more than 100 participants.
Julia Klymenko, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, welcomed representatives of business and reminded that Ukraine intends to join the program COSME in the near future. COSME is the EUprogramme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises running from 2014 - 2020 with a planned budget of EUR 2.3 billion.
Ukrainian small and medium business has a chance to get about 600 thousands of potential partners of foreign economic activity - just as many European companies are members within the COSME system.

Access to training programs, consultations and grants for business development are additional benefits provided by COSME. You can find more information at http://ec.europa.eu/growth/smes/cosme/index_en.htm.
