This is the first step in full reform of police service

On Wednesday, July 22, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk took part in the opening of the main department of Kyiv patrol police.
The Prime Minister visited the hall of administrative office, control room, office for issuing DVRs, storage and processing of video information room.
He underlined that police will work with citizens in this department both in providing them with services and administrative practice."
"If a person needs to know something about an offense, write a complaint about the police activity, return a driving license, get information on traffic accident for an insurance company – he/she comes to this center, and without queues that were previously in the district offices of the SAI, without delay, gets a police service," he noted.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk has stressed that this is the first stage in the reform of administrative services in general.

He recalled that a bill on reforming the entire system of the former Soviet Interdistrict registration-examination departments and transition to providing services in the Ukrainian police has been already submitted to Parliament and voted in first reading after rather long discussions.

"We welcome this step taken with the help of our American partners. This is only the first step in the full reform of the police service in Ukraine," the Prime Minister added.
