Ukrainian lawmakers adopted the resolution on the appointment of regular elections of members of local councils and village, town and city mayors in 2015.
The decision was supported by 237 MPs.
According to the resolution, the regular elections of members of local councils and village, town and city mayors are scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2015.
The regular elections of members of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, local councils and village, town and city mayors in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol are not appointed and will not be held.
