EU-Ukraine Association Committee to meet in Brussels for the first time

 On July 13-14, there will be a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee in Brussels.

An Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels learned this from the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union.

"This will be the first meeting of the Committee, which is established in accordance with Article 464 of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, and it is intended to assist the Association Council to carry out its duties and perform the tasks stipulated in the Agreement," the statement said.

The Ukrainian delegation will be headed by Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Director of the Government's Office for European Integration Issues Natalia Hnidyuk.

During the meeting of the Association Committee, the participants will discuss a wide range of issues, including political, trade, economic and sectoral cooperation.

On Wednesday, the representatives of the Ukrainian government delegation will also participate in the meeting of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs.
