Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of June 22, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, over the past 24 hours the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 28 times.

The enemy used heavy machineguns, grenade launchers and 82 mm mortars near Avdiivka, about 10:00 p.m. the enemy also used 152 mm heavy artillery near Avdiivka. The illegal armed formations shelled the ATO positions near Verkhniotoretske and Luhanske with automatic grenade launchers, near Troitske with mortars. Militants fired 122 mm self-propelled mounts on the ATO positions near Mayorsk and Mykolaivka Druha.

The enemy attacked the ATO positions near Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Hnutove with small arms, near Novotroitske, Vodyane, Talakivka and Taramchuk with grenade launchers. The enemy’s snipers targeted the ATO positions near Krasnohorivka and Marinka.

The illegal armed formations used heavy machineguns, APC armament, and grenade launchers near Novozvanivka.

Three UAVs were seen along the demarcation line.
