As Oleksii Pavlenko,
the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, informed, Ukrainian
companies had begun exporting milk and dairy products to the Republic of China
at the end of 2015.
“Four
Ukrainian companies have received veterinary certificates on the export of milk
and dairy products to China in December 2015. Another two companies have
received the certificates in January 2016. The range of export items includes
milk powder, whey and cheese”, the Minister stressed.
The right to
export has been provided to Subsidiary Company “Starokostiantynivskyi Milk
Plant”, PJSC “Bashtanskyi Cheese Plant”, PJSC “Litynskyi Milk
Factory”, LLC “Tarashchamoloko”, LLC “Terra Food”, LLC “Agroprodeksport”.
According to
the Minister, the relevant state bodies of Ukraine and China performed a large
amount of work to open the Chinese market for Ukrainian dairy producers. “The
market of China for dairy products has great prospects. We are very proud that
the experts on certification and veterinary control of the People’s
Republic of China appreciated the quality of the domestic dairy products”, the
Minister noted. He also added that the work on markets expending for Ukrainian
agricultural products would continue.
