Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016"

The legislative act in 2016 established the following general indicators of the state budget:

revenues amounting to 595.1 billion. UAH;

expenditures in the amount of 684.5 billion. UAH;

budget deficits identified in 3.7% of projected GDP.

Spending on defense and security is set at 113.6 billion. UAH or 5% of GDP.

The law stipulates on 31 December 2016 the national debt ceiling in the amount 1.501.479.663,5 thousand. UAH.

The document established the subsistence minimum per person per month at a rate of 1 January 2016 - UAH 1,330, from May 1 - 1399 UAH, from December 1 - 1496 hryvnia.
