Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine
Tatyana Popova said that Ukraine and Turkey would cooperate in the field of
information in order to fight against Russian propaganda.
She said this during a conference in Lviv, the
press service of the government reported.
"The idea of a possible cooperation came to
us a few weeks ago, after which we were invited to visit the embassy [of
Turkey]. During the visit, we discussed a number of different ways of possible
cooperation, as well as willingness of the Ukrainian side to share our
experience in combating Russian disinformation," she said.
Ukrainian authorities have officially joined the
fight against Russian propaganda in the beginning of the year.
