One of the subscribers turned to "Ukrainian Law Blog" with the request to solve the following problem:
COPYRIGHT ISSUE
My client is looking for an expert in internet Copyright laws. My client would like to use some photos and captions from pages and technical articles that are published on the internet. My client has a website that will be sold as pay per click and or subscription website. He has a better way to present these technical photos that either he will post, or his members will post. He plans on having the link, the author, and article name and citation attached to every photo on his website. He members will be instructed to do the same, but might not comply.
Is this sufficient to protect the owner from liability? My client wants to avoid getting a letter for permission from every article. My client will ask specifically about 5-10 websites.
