Russia circulated a food embargo in response to the sanctions on Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Ukraine. The ban on the import of products from Ukraine will enter into force only if Kiev will use the economic part of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian response to the sanctions should not be surprising, since the accession to such measures is a conscious choice, for which we must be responsible.
