Russian occupation of Crimea cannot stop Ukraine on its path of European integration.
European Parliament President Martin Schulz said this at a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
"The illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation cannot stop Ukraine on its way to Europe," Schultz said.
According to him, this factor also cannot prevent the EU to consider Ukraine as an ally in adoption of common European values.
The EP President also assured that the vast majority of MEPs supported Ukraine.
