Switzerland gives Ukraine 4.3 mln francs for e-democracy

The Swiss Confederation is implementing the EGAP program worth 4.3 million francs for 2015-2019 to establish e-government in Ukraine.
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Hennady Zubko.
"4.3 million Swiss francs will show immediate effect," the minister said, signing the memorandum on implementation of the e-government program between the State Agency on e-government in Ukraine and the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine.
Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine Guido Beltran noted that the program would help citizens and government agencies to reduce time and cost of providing administrative services and help to combat corruption.
