In the US Congress registered a record activity in support of Ukraine.
Never before on the side of the Congress was not observed such a large number of statements about Ukraine, press releases, letters to the presidential administration, special hearings, briefings and meetings of a different format, as it was from the beginning in 2014.
United States Congress in 2014, was engaged in the Ukrainian issue more time in its history. Writes about this in his article Deychakivsky Orestes, a senior US Helsinki Commission, reporting on the activities of US lawmakers against Ukraine over the past year.
According to him, even on the side of Congress never observed such a large number of statements about Ukraine, press releases, letters to the presidential administration, special hearings, briefings and meetings of a different format, as it was originally in 2014.
It also notes a record number of visits of US congressmen and senators in Ukraine over the past 16 months.
