Cossacks' rarities presented in Kyiv

The Museum of Cultural Heritage, an exhibition of antiquities XVII-XVIII centuries.

"Rarities of Cossacks' era" - more than 300 pieces from the private collection of the Museum of the Sheremetievs. First of all, it's - weapons: guns, rifles, pistols. At one booth - and partisan battle front, a kind of spear, covered with exquisite designs and rusty military braid, with which fought Cossack poor. Some of the exhibits - cues that accurately reproduce the originals and XVI century, and in working condition. "Cossack could be naked, but with a firearm," - emphasizes the co-curator of the exhibition Alexey Rudenko.

The exhibition "Rarities of Cossacks' era" will be at the Museum of Cultural Heritage in Kyiv to 4 September.
