The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has launched a new "National Human Rights Strategy" website

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has launched a new website regarding the “National Human Rights Strategy”http://hrstrategy.com.ua/.
This is done in order to attract a wide range of citizens and public institutions to discussion and development of the National human rights strategy, the development time of which has been prolonged until March 31, 2015.
As it has been stated before, the National human rights strategy is aimed at achieving strategic objectives in 2015-2020 to eliminate grounds for violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms and implementation of mechanisms for their ensuring.
It is assumed that this document’s strategic areas will be: ensuring the right to life; combating torture and inhuman degrading treatment or punishment; ensuring the right to freedom and personal inviobility; ensuring the right to a fair trial and judiciary sector reforms; reform of the criminal justice and law enforcement agencies; ensuring freedom of expression and access to information; ensuring the rights of anti-terrorism operation (ATO) participants; protection of rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs); implementation of all necessary measures in order to protect the rights of persons living in the temporarily occupied territory; ensuring the rights of persons living in areas that are currently not under the control of Ukraine and adjacent territories; release of hostages and restoration of their rights; raising awareness of human rights; ensuring the rights of the child; ensuring the right to privacy, etc.
