Internal Political Crisis in the USA? Well...

Is there a domestic political crisis in the US? Absolutely not? Well, let's take a closer look.

A sign of an internal political crisis is the difficulty of legislative processes. Has there been any difficulty in legislative processes recently? Suffice it to recall the ordeal of the bill on the allocation of aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
The very process of adopting this bill indicated significant challenges in coordinated actions between political parties.
It's well known that difficulty in coordinated action between political parties is one of the signs of an internal political crisis. The prolonged debates and negotiations highlighted the deep divisions and the increasing partisanship within Congress.
Thus, there are two signs of an internal political crisis in the United States: difficulty in legislative processes and the increasing partisanship hindering coordinated action.
Are the upcoming elections the cause of this internal crisis? Partly. It would be more accurate to say that the elections themselves reflect the radicalization of certain parts of American society.
For instance, one presidential candidate is currently facing multiple prosecutions, while the second possible presidential candidate is a former prosecutor. This situation is a clear indication of the polarization of society.
It is obvious that the election of the president is an internal matter and the absolute right of the American people. But what could the victory of each candidate mean for Ukraine?
The outcome of the US presidential election will undoubtedly have significant implications for Ukraine. A candidate embroiled in legal battles might focus more on domestic issues and less on international commitments, potentially affecting military and financial aid to Ukraine. Conversely, a former prosecutor might prioritize the rule of law and support for democratic allies, ensuring continued support for Ukraine in its struggle.
In conclusion, the signs of a political crisis in the US are evident in the legislative gridlock and societal polarization. The upcoming elections not only reflect these internal issues but also hold substantial international implications, particularly for Ukraine.
