Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of morning, February 01, 2017

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 86 times over the past 24 hours. Unfortunately, 1 Ukrainian soldier was killed in action, 9 were wounded and 9 injured.

The enemy used 122 mm artillery against Vodyane, Pavlopil, Talakivka, and Berdyanske, 120 mm mortars against Novohryhorivka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Novotroitske, and Vodyane, small arms against Shyrokyne and Novohryhorivka, BMP armament against Shyrokyne. An enemy’s sniper targeted the Ukrainian positions near Chermalyk.

Occupants fired BM-21 Grad, 152 mm artillery, tank armament on positions near Avdiivka, 152 mm artillery on Tonenke, 120 mm mortars on Avdiivka, Luhanske, Troitske, Opytne, and Verkhniotoretske, tank and BMP armament on Verkhniotoretske.

The Russian occupational forces shelled the Ukrainian positions with 152 mm and 122 mm artillery, 82 mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers and small arms near Krymske, Troitske, Zhovte, Novooleksandrivka, Stanytsya Luhanska and Novozvanivka.
