President Petro Poroshenko signed a Decree to approve the plan of holding multinational AFU training in 2017 in Ukraine and abroad. The document also stipulates the procedure of providing access to the territory of Ukraine for the foreign troops to participate in the abovementioned training.
Under the plan, in January-December 2017, Ukraine will host up to 3000 military with armament and military equipment, up to 6 planes and helicopters of the U.S., other NATO member-states and members of the Partnership for Peace program for up to 365 days.
Up to 2500 servicemen of the United States, other NATO member-states and members of the Partnership for Peace program with armament and military equipment, up to 10 ships, up to 5 submarines, up to 10 planes and helicopters, up to 60 wheeled vehicles will be hosted for up to 25 days in July-September 2017 within Sea Breeze 2017 Ukraine-USA training.
Up to 2000 servicemen of the United States, other NATO member-states and members of the Partnership for Peace program with armament and military equipment, up to 6 planes and up to 10 helicopters will be hosted for up to 25 days in June-November within Rapid Trident 2017 Ukraine-USA training.
