Day of Ukraine's liberation from Nazi invaders - a national holiday dedicated to the expulsion from the territory of the USSR of Wehrmacht troops by the Red Army, which is celebrated annually in Ukraine on October 28.

October 20, 2009 in the Ukrainian capital city-hero of Kiev, the third president of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko signed a decree № 836/2009 «On the Day of Ukraine's liberation from Nazi invaders" which ordered to celebrate this holiday in the country each year on October 28th.
