Situation at the boundary line and in the ATO area

The militants continued putting fire upon the positions of Ukrainian border guards last day.

Russian mercenaries were holding fire upon the entry-exit checkpoint “Stanytsia Luhanska” starting from 9 p.m. and till the midnight of the previous day. The terrorists were using grenade launchers and small arms.

There were no injured amongst the Ukrainian servicemen. Border guards did not return fire.

The passenger-traffic flow within the entry-exit checkpoints remained dynamic. There is a slight increase of the flow in comparison with the previous day. In total, 31.9 thousand individuals and 4.5 thousand vehicles crossed the boundary line through the entry-exit checkpoints.

Totally, the checkpoints were crossed:

"Zaitsevo" – by 8500 individuals and 1185 vehicles;

"Maryinka" – by 5925 individuals and 920 vehicles;

"Novotroitske" – by 6595 individuals and 1415 vehicles;

"Hnutove" – by 4465 individuals and 920 vehicles;

"Stanytsia Luganska" – by 6430 individuals.
