Volodymyr Groysman: We should return to discussions on a new tax system

We should develop a new tax system to be simple, sustainable, devoid of populism and to give time for business to adapt to new conditions. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with representatives of domestic and foreign business representatives on Thursday, April 28. The meeting was also attended by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
"We should return to discussions on a new tax system. It should be in a format that is easy to understand and it should be constant. Most importantly, we should take it not on the New Year Eve, but we should give time for adaptation of the business. It should not be in a populist way. These are the parameters over which we will work", Volodymyr Groysman said.

The PM said that the issue of a return to the development of tax reform has been discussed with the Strategic Advisory Group; this idea is also supported by the President of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Groysman noted that there are a lot of developments on this issue, and he expressed the belief that it will be possible to reach a consolidated decision. And the decision will be passed by the Parliament of Ukraine.
