Ukraine exported more than 31 million tons of grain

“As of April 1^st, the actual export volume totals 30,520 million tons, of which: wheat – 12,883 million tons; corn – 13,407 million tons; barley – 4,044 million tons and other grains – 186 thousand tons”, OleksiiPavlenko, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, reported. 

The Minister stressed that the volume of embarked grain reached 496 thousand tons. Thus, the volume of grain exported and prepared for export amounts to 31,016 million tons. Out of this volume: wheat – 13,030 million tons, barley – 4,060 million tons, and corn – 13,740 million tons.

“I shall remind that last year Ukraine exported about 35 million tons of grain. The sum of the total export of all agricultural products amounted to $14,8 billion and allowed to obtain the highest surplus for the years of Ukraine’s independence – $11 billion”, Oleksii Pavlenko stressed.
