German business notes the positive effects of the reforms in Ukraine

In the framework of the preparation for the German-Ukrainian business forum, which will be held on October 23, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine held a round table with representatives of German companies already working in Ukraine.
The meeting was attended by some of the German largest companies, in particular, DHL International, Robert Bosh LTD, Metro Cash & Carry, BSM Bosh and Siemens Home Appliance Group and others.
The participants appreciated the high motivation of the Government for reform and the positive experience of cooperation with central bodies of executive power. However, it was noted that the worst times are behind, and some companies have even started expanding their production capacities in Ukraine. While talking about foreign trade, representatives of German business also mentioned a good percentage of customs clearance of goods, which they estimate at over 80%.
“This is a very good signal. We hope that the business forum will give an additional impetus to the expansion of German business in Ukraine”, said Alexander Markus, delegate of German economy in Ukraine.

According to the representatives of German companies in Ukraine has a significant potential in the production of automobile parts, chemical industry and agro business.
