Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko today, July 24, 2015, signed a decision to ban all communist parties to take part in the electoral process in the country. This was announced today at the briefing of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Alexander Turchinov.
"Today, you know, I think the day of historic justice. Today, the Minister of Justice, according to the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, has signed a decision, according to which the Communist Party, which is today in our country, lose the right to be the subject of political and electoral processes," - said Turchinov.
He said that at the moment the court regarding the prohibition of the Communist Party of Ukraine was delayed and continues to this day.
