Ukraine continues to reduce its imports. On this question in the analytical report to the annual message of the president of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada. The document, prepared by the National Institute for Strategic Studies, was distributed to MPs in Parliament.
So, in 2014, Ukraine has reduced imports of goods record by almost 32% (to $ 52.5 billion), the document says.
The worst decline was from CIS countries (43.7%, including from Russia - more than twice), almost one-third decreased deliveries from Asia and 22.5% - in the EU.
As a result, in 2014 the share of EU countries in the domestic commodity imports reached a record 40%.
