On April 1, 2015 held the Rule of Law Donors and Implementers
Meeting organized by the USAID “FAIR Justice Project”.
This meeting was attended by representatives of USAID,
the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine, European Union Project “Support
to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine”, OSCE Project Co-ordinator in
Ukraine, ABA Rule of Law Initiative, other donors and implementing partners,
and also Ukrainian partners (High Qualifications Commission of Judges, National
School of Judges, High Council of Justice, etc.).
During the presentation, the
participants was informed about reforms being undertaken by the Ministry of Justice,
including issues related to registration services and the enforcement of court
judgments.
The Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine highlighted
such issues as online asset declarations, enforcement of judgments,
registration of legal persons, asset registration, registration of civil
status, free legal aid and probation.
Gia Getsadze stressed on the importance of cooperation
and teamwork in order to achieve the best results in implementing
anti-corruption efforts.
